Great place to work with flexible schedules and many opportunities. Office works 24/7 to help me with any client issues or personal issues that occur in my life. Home helpers truly does do life with not only their clients but their staff too.
Was told I would be making $15 an hour for being the on call caregiver was told I would get paid for 30 hours a week even I didn’t meet those hours. They lied I only got paid for 11 hours…. Also was dropped to $12 an hour because I got sick and missed a shift and was told I couldn’t be on call anymore but then next day text me an hour before a shift to ask me to work….. my first client they ever sent me too the lady had roaches everywhere flying out and going up my leg but they expect you to work for them for $12 an hour….I have almost three year’s experience
I went in for an interview as they stated pay range was $13/hr-$20/hr... this is innacurate. I got an email stating to ask for someone named Ali and then was told I wasn't on her interview list and got put with the hiring manager. After speaking and stating my work experience I was offered $12/hr which is $1 above minimum wage ($11/hr)
Home Helpers isn’t just a job it’s a career! I started with Home Helpers as a caregiver 5 years ago. My scheduler Laura and the owners always did their best to help me through any trails life brought me. As the years passed my job became a career and my clients became family. I am beyond greatful for the love this company has shown me along with my team, throughout the years. And I am honored to now help many other and do life with them as Laura and Home Helpers do with me!
